Contemporary Christian Music
Not all the good "stuff" is in an album. Sometimes there's a song or two all by itself just waiting to be discovered, so it's just natural that New Faith Favorites now presents individual items that are worth taking a peek at.
I'd like to introduce you to Jonathan David Emanuel. Jonathan, a fellow-messianic worshipper with me throughout the years at Son of David Congregation, has written a couple of songs and just wanted to see if they would bless others. Please give them a listen and let us know what you think.
JONATHAN DAVID EMANUEL
"The Lord was ready to save me; therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments all the days of our life, in the house of the Lord." (Isaiah 38:20).
Born and raised in a political atmosphere in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Jonathan developed a sensitivity to social problems and the needs of people. He had always enjoyed singing, listening to music and playing guitar, but as he grew older, he realized more and more the value of music not only for himself, but for others.
Being of Jewish heritage, Jonathan had not heard much about Jesus or the New Testament. During his enlistment in the United States Navy, he observed many situations that made him question his own personal beliefs and relationship with God. This quest for answers ultimately led Jonathan to becoming a Jewish Believer, and the resulting marriage of music and message became ministry.
It is Jonathan's desire to share with the public those songs which speak of the love and compassion of the Lord and the messages of the Bible.

Andy rocketed to the top of the rock scene in the 1970s. He then spent the next 20 years in Europe writing and singing spiritual songs. Now he's back with a new vibrancy in his life and music.
Check out his newest single release. "Yahweh" is an amazing song of deeply expressed worship.

I have known and ministered with George Comtois for a number of years. George is multi-talented and has a genuine love for the Lord and the people of Israel. Recently, he has teamed up with Jeremiah Ginsberg on a number of projects, one of which is the performance of "Mendel & Moses".
In the Spring and Summer of 1997, Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg produced "Mendel & Moses" at the Century City Playhouse in West Los Angeles, and at The Canon Theatre in Beverly Hills. It received excellent reviews, and was seen and enjoyed by no less than 7,000 theatre-goers.
George sings four of the songs from the production. There's some really interesting music here. You might even call it "neat".
