David and Leslye Schneier were Washington, DC lawyers. They became followers of Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus) in 1973.
In 1995 they answered the Lord's call, shut down David's law practice, closed Leslye's art business,and with their teenagers moved to Odessa, Ukraine.
The result is the ministries of Odessa’s Gateway to
Zion Congregation
and two other congregations
in the region including an outreach to the Arabic
people.
A new direction of ministry was added in
2005 to the Jewish people of France as well as
building bridges with churches there.
