With rich tones similar to the sounds of Karen Carpenter and Anne Murray, Marsha King delights and enriches audiences of all ages with her music and her message. Her wonderful harmonies and words of passion help us look beyond our hardships to a God who loves us. Using her own life experiences along with stories from the Bible, she helps us discover PEACE even in the midst of severe hardship.
Some people that specifically identify with Marsha's own struggles have loved ones in prison or have been incarcerated themselves. Some have also cared for severely disabled children or spouses or have been touched by the HIV/ AIDS pandemic. Others also join Marsha's journey of sorrow as a parent whose child has died.
Marsha King has been a featured speaker and singer at churches and para-church organizations for the past twenty years. She currently lives near Wilmington, NC with her husband and two sons and is an artist with the Pillar Music-Group and the Wilmington Celebration Choir.
